Integral Coach Factory in Chennai is the manufacturer of the coaches.Unlike other Indian trains, the train-sets will feature a push-pull locomotive at both ends, which will allow for faster acceleration and reduced turnaround times while changing directions.Two WAP-5 locomotives built by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works with vibration resistant engines will power the train sets.
